Dear Parents,
To Us Children's Ministry Is A Priority Rather Than An
Afterthought!
It's the desire of New Well Worship Center to teach our
children the whole counsel of God's Word. We recognize
and understand that it is the Word of God through the
ministry of the Holy Spirit that transforms lives into the
likeness of Jesus Christ-and that includes children's lives.
Our purpose and hearts' desire is that NWWC's Children's
Ministry be a place where every child experiences Jesus
Christ; growing to love and serve Him through the teaching
of the Bible.
Noah's Nursery - 10:15 am
Newborn - 24 months
NWWC's Noah's Nursery is a co-op nursery for all
children. We believe our nursery is a place where even the
smallest children can have fun and experience the love of
Jesus, while parents enjoy the worship service free of the
distraction of childcare.
Children are cared for by their parents and a number of
volunteers on a rotational basis. If you are a visitor, you
are welcome to leave your child to be cared for, or you may
stay with your child for part of the service. Parents are
always welcome!! If you decide to make NWWC your church
home, you will be asked to share in this ministry (helping to
care for the babies about once per month).
If you would like more detailed information about nursery
policies, schedules, etc, please drop by the nursery and
pick up on of our parent information handouts or contact Kay
Adkisson, our Nursery Coordinator.
Pre-School Class Age 2-5 - 10:30 am
As soon as your child turns two, he/she can move up to the
Pre-School Class. There's lots of play time, some
structured teaching, fun worship, a craft, and snack time.
Don't worry! If your child cries or fusses and we are unable
to comfort him/her in a reasonable amount of time, we'll
come and get you. If you have any special requests
regarding your child, please talk to the teacher.
Kindergarten - 6th grade 11:00 AM Sundays
Kids are invited to join our exciting Power Kids Church in
the Children's and Youth Chapel following corporate Praise
and Worship with the adults.
Our playground and fort is open for use before and after
every service and is used at times as a "reward" for hard
work in our classes. Even though we have the softest
available play area foundation (ground-up colored rubber)
we ask that children follow the rules, play safe, and wear
their shoes at all times.
*Regarding classes, each child is expected to attend
his/her correct age/grade class, same as in school. This is
to allow children to form lasting friendships with others of
their ages, and to be taught at their correct level of
learning.
Special Events
During the year we celebrate holidays and other events with
parties right in class. Besides this, we have many incredible
annual events:
-Light Party (October 31 - Safe and fun alternative to
"Trick or Treat")
-Christmas Events
-Day Camps
Please Talk to Pastor Kay for more information regarding
special events.
